it’s official, we are closing Church Street for the day 😀

Here’s the latest updated programme of events for the Sunday 5th June Celebrations:

9.30 am Church Bells

10 am Jubilee Service in St Andrews Church

11 am Refreshments in church

11.30 am visit the Art Exhibition by Children of St Andrews School and the Fontmell Under Fives in the Church

11.30 am - have a go at making a crown and join in with the arts and crafts workshop or try and find 15 items on the Family Treasure hunt in the churchyard and along Church Street.

12 noon to 3pm The Big Jubilee Lunch on Church Street

Bring and share picnic, bring enough for yourself and some to share with your friends and neighbours.

Tables and Chairs will be set out on Church Street, some under gazebos.

or, bring a blanket and picnic in the churchyard (weather permitting)

If you prefer to buy your lunch or supplement what you bring, the Village Shop Tea Rooms will be open from 12 noon selling snacks, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, cake and ICE CREAMS 👍

They will be opening their barn doors onto Church Street with outside tables and opening their pretty garden too.

On Street Bar: The Fontmell is running a cash only bar on Church Street serving beer, wine and soft drinks.

2pm visit the Archive Society display at the Village Hall Village Hall, Fontmell Magna with a 1950s coronation theme

3pm Afternoon teas in the Village Hall until 4.30pm. Browse the archive displays and visit the Friendship Garden to see the flower beds especially planted by village clubs and socities and the school children for the jubilee. The Fontmell Friendship Garden

5pm Live music at The Fontmell, serving pizzas and beer. Pizzas to be pre-ordered via Sian Highnam - 01747 811 028 or sianhighnam@gmail.com by Friday 28th May please.
