 MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING

Coffee morning with cake, stalls and games

October 2nd 10.30-12.00

Fontmell Magna Village Hall

This is the third year of running a Macmillan Coffee morning in the village which was started by dear Briony Long. I am continuing to run these in memory of her and as her legacy and in tribute to the wonderful care I have personally received on my own cancer journey. The funds raised really do make a difference and help lives in so many incredible ways .
Please do tell your family and friends and it would be lovely to see lots of people to raise funds for this incredible charity.
Thank you so much

FONTMELL FRIENDS

New season starts on 8th October

NORMANDY CAMPAIGN
Each year Fontmell Friends stage a series of varied events that we hope will be interesting, enjoyable and an opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with old. Any surplus made from our events will be donated to our community.
To kick-off our new season and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE and VJ day, Fontmell Friends are delighted to welcome Robin Miller, a well-known local authority on War World II to talk about the Normandy Campaign.
Robin, former Royal Artillery Commando, will give us a fascinating insight into this historic event. This talk will be held on Wednesday 8th October at 7.00 pm at the Fontmell Magna Village Hall. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the St Andrews church repair fund.
Doors will be open at 6.15pm for a pop-up bar, soft drinks, and socialising. Come and enjoy a social evening with your friends.
Tickets will be available from the village shop from 1st October for £4 or, if still available, at the door on the night for £5.
